So far, things on the homefront are very busy. The fact that I didn’t have a stable internet connection the past week kept me away from the computer and found other things to do around the house.
First, there was a lot of organizing done. Receipts, stock certificates, life insurance policies, bank statements. I certainly had a lot of paperwork lying around the house. Not anymore. I spent a good few hours sorting and filing that they are now neatly stacked and tucked into envelopes.
Next, I had moved my computer desk outside of my bedroom. Yet again.
Then my son had chickenpox. He did get a vaccine for it, but someone who lives with us got the pox and the virus got transmitted to my son. The pedia said that booster shots are given at 4 to 6 years of age. My son is only 3 years old, so… too bad for him. He got the pox even before he could have his booster shot. Meh.
Then my computer got a malware. It’s called incognito.exe. IT MADE MY COMPUTER SO SLOW THAT I CAN HARDLY DO ANYTHING AT ALL. I got it fixed, though. And just in time when my internet connection had become stable again.
So there, I think for now I got all bases covered. Stable internet, good working computer, house in order. I can work again.
