I like floor tiles. They’re so much easier to clean than marble floors. In fact, we’ve gone from marble floors to tiles. In my parents’ old house we had marble floors. Yeah it’s fun to use (and ride on) the floor polisher, but OMG all the work. LOL.
But tiles, they’re so easy to clean. Low maintenance, at least as what I have personally experienced. And they come in different colors and designs, too.
So here are a few tile cleaning tips you might wanna try sometime.
How to Keep Floor Tiles Clean
- Get a lemon and cut it lengthwise. Rub the stained bathroom or kitchen tiles with the lemon and leave it for 15 minutes. Rinse well with water.
- For bathroom tiles that already have hard-water coats, use a fine sandpaper. Afterwards, clean it with a soapy sponge and rinse.
- Bathroom tiles can also be cleaned with a solution of salt and washing soda. Sprinkle some salt on the cracks between tiles and use a stiff brush to clean out the dirt and grime. Rinse the tiles with cold water.
- Rust stains on tiles can be removed with vinegar.
- You also try mixing four tablespoons of liquid ammonia with four and a half liters of water. This solution can be used to wash bathroom tiles.
Keep your floor tiles, bathroom tiles and kitchen tiles clean. A clean and organized home is a joy to come home to.
