adult acne treatment

I suffer from adult acne, but somehow, I don’t let it take control of my life. Sure, I do get a zit or two (or more) during that time of the month, but it’s ok. Actually, I am more concerned about the scars that acne leave, than having to suffer a red nose or a blemished cheek.

There are a lot of adult acne treatments available from prescription drugs, over-the-counter treatments, creams, gels, pimple patches, toners. Name it and pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies definitely have it.

Today, however, I would like to share some easy to find adult acne treatment. Some of these may already be in your cupboards or pantries.

Tea tree oil is one of the best and safest adult acne treatment. This can easily be found in supermarkets.

Apple cider vinegar is another popular choice for getting rid of acne. Sure, we hate the smell, but it doesn’t last too long, right? Besides, it rids you of acne effectively.

Hydrogen peroxide is a very inexpensive adult acne treatment. I personally tried it. However, Hydrogen peroxide leaves a free radical, which speeds up aging process (hello, wrinkles!) so don’t use in on your entire face. Just use Hydrogen peroxide for spot treatment.

A mask of beaten egg white contains protein that effectively heals the skin. Apply it on the face and leave it for about 15 minutes before rinsing with cold water.

Adult acne is definitely hard to live with. But don’t let your life be ruined by it. Treatments are available everywhere. Good luck!
