Hello fellow parents! Welcome to Mommy, Make it Better, a new lifestyle – home making blog. This project has been brewing in my mind for quite some time now.
I love being home. When I was younger, 80% of my weekends were spent at home, with my mama. We love doing the mother-daughter thing. She taught me to cook, clean our home, gave me tricks on solving odd homemaking problems. It was here who taught me that I can clean the toilet bowl with a one can of Coca-cola.
Mama has this thick old tattered notebook where she listed tips and tricks on cleaning the home and solving some housekeeping dilemma. The notebook contained her yummylicious recipes.
These are the things I want to share with you – the things I learned from my loving Mama.
Mama loved my Da and me, and she showed it by keeping our home clean, comfortable and happy. She made our home a beautiful place to live in.
I am a mother now, and I like nothing better than a happy home for my young son. I am sure that as a parent, you share the same sentiment.
Who is Mommy?
My name is Xenia Maria (yes, that’s just my first name), but you can call me Xee (I’m known as Xee Momma around the blogosphere). I’ve been around the blogosphere for quite a while now. Started blogging in 2002 when I was 18 and hasn’t stopped since. Sure, I’ve been changing domains and niches, but still here I am. I just love to blog, sharing the things I learn, meeting new people and learning from them, too.
